  6. The file “Monitors & Sound doc.pdf” describes how to use the Monitors & Sound control panel with your AppleVision monitor on computers using System 7.1.

If your computer is running System 7.5 or later, refer to the Monitors & Sound Guide instead of this file. The Monitors & Sound Guide is available in the Guide menu whenever the Monitors & Sound control panel is active. The Guide menu is in the upper-right corner of your screen; it looks like a question mark.

  10. Monitors & Sound doc.pdf is in Adobe Acrobat format. You need to have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer in order to view the file. If you don't already have a copy of Acrobat Reader on your computer, follow these directions to install it:

  14. 1. Insert the AppleVision Software CD-ROM. (If you have the disk version of the software, insert 
  15. disk 1 of the Acrobat Reader disk set.)

  17. 2. Open the CD-ROM or disk, if necessary.

  19. 3. Double-click the file ACROREAD.MAC.
  20.  
  21. 4. Follow the onscreen instructions.

  23. 5. After the software is installed, double-click the Monitors & Sound doc.pdf file to open it.
